Installation of security compound light.

At the Wangsa Maju new surau carpark, the car park was almost finished and the surface was bitumisied with quite a smooth surface. But someone had a bright idea of installing some compound lights (for security in the car park) and so they dug up the surface to install electrical cables. What a mess! And when those cables are installed, they will never have the car park bitumanised surface be as smooth as before.

Why couldn't the compound lights cables be istalled before they bitumanised the surface?

Parking at night

Photo taken at 7.45 in the morning. Wonder if these cars were double parked the whole night?

Shedding leaves

Its the time of the year when mango trees shed their leaves. And the street needs to be constantly swept and leaves collected. The leaves will get older in a month or so and after that the trees flower and bear fruits.

Unwanted items

How to get rid of what you do not want. Garden rubbish thrown into an open space between houses and unwanted dressing table left on the road pavement. Are we not being unsociable?

Singing pidgeon

Cages of singing pidgeon (merbok) outside a corner house near my place. Morning scene, against the hill greenary and against a clouded morning sky. Those birds make beautiful hollow singing noise, probably as a past time or probably mating calls.

Night parking

These are dangerous areas for night parking.
On a hill incline, at road junction where people turn in.
Just outside people's gate, even at night - people coming out might knock on your car.
At a sharp turning - you virtually make the road narrow at the turning.
Towards the centre of the road - though you have ample space at the kerb road edge.

neighbour died

Death can strike anywhere, anytime, and anybody. Only God knows.

One of my neighbours died a couple of days ago, quite unexpectatly. He and his family just moved in about 6 month ago, and had just renovated their house. Regret that we did not get to know him better.

Our condolence to his family.

Al-Faatihah; he was a Moslem.
